Tell me I forget. Show me I remember. Involve me I understand.

The aim of the English club lesson was not to make all become the leaders but to make you think what person you are: a leader or a member of a group, decide for yourself which is better for you and how to improve yourself to be successful in life.

Brainstorming activity: First tell me what images come to your mind when you think about the word “LEADER”.

PS: initiator, honest, sociable, just, educated, with great sense of responsibility, forceful, initiator, straightforward etc.

Team Work. Divide into 2 groups.

The task for the first group is to discuss and decide what are 3 features which are most important for the leader?

The second group will think of the questions you would like to be answered when you think of the problem of leadership.

Members of Team	Leader
Active, brave, executive, hard working and clever.	Honest, sociable, just and responsible.

 

Then we debate on topic "Is it difficult to be a leader?"

At the end I ask them what person you are Leader or Member of group. Some of the students were leaders and other was member of groups .And members of group also want to become leaders and they work hard at it.

Now you see that all of you are different.You know, when we learn to honor the difference and appreciate the mix we find harmony.
