Internet Learning Center Gulyakandoz - English Club

Hello everybody! How are you doing?

First of all we, the project team of ILC Gulyakandoz, want to thank RI-SOL for the Internet opportunity, for the chance to see the World and to be seen by the World. There are more than 33 of us in the team. We are from different schools and of different ages but we have much in common: we are fond of computers, English and social activities. The RI-SOL activities (trainings, online forums and meetings) are aimed to create such qualities. We are sure these qualities are necessary in self - development and making carrier. It's a pity some of our students don't possess English skills that's why in December, 2004 we decided to organize English Club in our ILC. Our Club motto is “Live and Learn”. There are about 20 members in the club. During the school year we did not meet often as there was a lot of work to do. Right now we meet three times a week.

Our lessons are held by our OSE Dilorom Abdullaeva and our lead English teacher Sukhrob Muratov. We want to be good both in writing and speaking. Besides doing various kinds of exercises we play different interactive games, organize meetings with “English speaking people”, make reports, write essays etc. Most of all we are fond of giving and taking interview. It's so interesting to talk English to “a stranger”. English Club helps us to increase and improve our language skills. We want to hold language and computer contests. Our lead teacher Sukhrob Muratov is attending Increasing Courses of Computer for school teachers; we are going to ask him to hold some computer trainings in English.

English is not only a school subject for us it's a mean of communication.

We invite everybody to our English Club. Our lessons are on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 13.00-16.00.
